Project Title

Rahguzar: optimizing route plans

Description

Rahguzar is a route optimization system for Salesflo, designed to enhance Permanent Journey Plans (PJP) for sales representatives. It optimizes sales routes, improves store coverage, and ensures scalability using OSRM on Docker for efficient routing. The system is built with PostgreSQL (AWS RDS), Flask for backend services, and React.js for the frontend, leveraging clustering algorithms to structure millions of store visits efficiently. By filtering stores based on locality, sub-locality, and distributor access, Rahguzar minimizes travel time and fuel consumption while ensuring systematic store visits. A distributor-based login system enables controlled data access. Key benefits include time and cost efficiency, improved logistics, and automated PJP generation. The system is scalable and adaptable, allowing real-time route adjustments. By integrating AI with GIS, Rahguzar provides a practical, data-driven solution to logistics challenges in retail sales, enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing resource utilization.
